This contemporary abstract painting gives a poetic vision of the proverb « the darkest hour is the one before dawn ». Below, a dark blue dominates: this is the « darkest hour », a phase when darkness seems almost suffocating. However, a bright golden line runs across the canvas, separating the two blue backgrounds and acting as a luminous boundary between night and dawn. This bright golden line represents the imminent brilliance of the new day. It invites us to contemplate the duality of life, where the beauty of dawn is all the more striking when it follows the darkest night.
