In this contemporary abstract painting, inspired by lyrical abstraction, I revisit the photo of the inside of an abyss and explore the duality between light and shadow.
Between the shadows of deep black, a golden glint emerges, like a ray of light illuminating the darkness and covering it with shades of blue. The texture and relief evoke the roughness of the rock, inviting you to explore the heart of the abyss. The golden rift embodies hope, the promise of renewal and the conviction that even in the deepest darkness, light will eventually emerge and take over from shadow.
