In this contemporary abstract painting, inspired by lyrical abstraction, I revisit the expression ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions’. It represents the fact that light can also lead to darkness, that the best intentions are sometimes the path to darker times. The golden stones symbolise the paving stones of good intentions that lead to hell and darkness.
