Abstract painting "Eclat marin" on canvas, with golden spots on a dark blue background with a gradation from black to white.
I try in all my abstracts to bring out the light from the dark, and the idea of the blinding sunlight on the surface contrasting with the darkness of the depths appealed to me. The gold brings more light and is reminiscent of the sun's glitter reflected in the water.
My abstract paintings try to show that despite the darkness, light is always present. An opposition between light and shadow, which do not exist without each other.
