In daylight, Kay presents a seemingly calm face, marked by areas that are cracking. Under black light, hands emerge on the face and body, evoking an invisible pressure that is exerted without being seen.

“Kay” presents a face that appears calm on the surface, yet is marked by areas of fragility, as if the surface were cracking in places. Certain parts of the body reveal an underlying structure, composed of material and lines, suggesting what is happening inside. Under black light, hands appear on the face and body, pressing, pulling, constraining. They evoke an invisible pressure—external or internal—that acts without being visible at first glance. The contrast creates tension in the image, between restraint and exposure, between control and what eventually gives way.
